Gicleé Art Prints
Limited edition signed gicleé (ghee-clay) prints are available for selected images.
For a better understanding, a gicleé is an individually produced, high-resolution, high-fidelity, high tech reproduction done on a special large format printer. It is produced from digital scans of original artwork using multi-color pigment based archival ink. The image is captured during the digital scanning process, is then printed on archival, top quality watercolor paper, stretched canvas or canvas panel.
Since this gicleé print is of museum quality, it should be treated as original artwork. A gicleé print on canvas panel or stretched canvas does not need to be under glass when framed. However, a gicleé print on watercolor paper does need to be protected from moisture with acid free matting and UV protective glass when framed. Exposure to direct sunlight should be avoided so that the particularly rich, intense colors and crisp detail of the gicleé may be retained.
